Surgery and a sterile operating theatre

Pet surgery: safety at every step

Pet surgery: safety at every step

Our clinic has a sterile operating theatre, an isoflurane anaesthetic system and equipment for monitoring vital signs during surgery. Services include neutering, Caesarean sections and general soft-tissue surgery, with a veterinary team attentive to each step.

Vital-sign monitoring and pain management

Surgical safety is central to care. Heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen and ECG are monitored throughout surgery, alongside pain management to support a comfortable recovery.

Which surgical services are available?

During a health examination and treatment, the veterinarian checks different body systems to assess your pet's overall health, including:

  • Neutering for male and female dogs and cats: Reducing aggressive behaviour and preventing uterine infection and mammary tumours
  • Emergency Caesarean section: A team ready to closely care for newborn animals
  • Soft-tissue surgery: Surgery for tumours, lumps and hernias
  • Urinary tract surgery: Bladder stone removal and urinary tract repair
  • Repair of severe wounds: Accident wounds and large lacerations
  • Dental scaling and tooth extraction: Under general anaesthesia with airway management
  • Recovery ward: Monitoring condition and body temperature until recovery

Preparing for surgery and postoperative care

Pets must fast from food and water for at least 8–12 hours before surgery. After surgery, owners receive instructions on wound care and medication, with suture removal scheduled in 7–10 days.
